The Contractor is required to be certified/licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the State of Pennsylvania.

• Provide dental prophylaxis on AICs who are referred by the dental staff
• Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient
• Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis
• Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the dentist
• Sterilize instruments used for prophylaxis and other instruments as specified by the dental staff
• Perform necessary paperwork related to scheduling patients for dental prophylaxis as directed by the dental staff
• Conduct dental sick-call triage as needed
• Deliver self-carry prescriptions to the AIC population
